Setting exclusions in managed distribution packages?

Greetings,

Is there a way to specify the paths & files to exclude from On-Access Scanner on the managed clients via the deployment package on the Management Console? I’d like to be able to set it there rather than having to go to each individual client after deployment and updating, as well as being able to deal with the occasional false positives from one central location.

Sure, just edit the on-access task in the ADNM console.

So you’re saying that if I configure the exclusions in the on-access task on the ADNM console, this setting will be carried over to the remote client when Avast! is installed?

Great if that works, though such is not readily apparent to me at least.

Yes, that’s what I’m saying, provided that the on-access scanning task you’re editing is actually assigned to the machine(s) in question (by means of the computer group’s properties in the ADNM console).
