Since a couple of days I am unable to set a device in my favorite list on the right side of my Avast-account.
Before is was possible to tick on a star-symbol next to the device name on top of the webpage to mark a device as favorite.
What has happened?
No reaction or advice yet? 
Possibly because people don’t understand or know of any favourite device, I think we are going to need more information as to exactly where this is.
I personally have never heard of this favourite List you talk about. I have never seen a star symbol, and the only thing close to a star symbol is the settings Cog wheel).
I have 4 devices linked to my.avast.com account, aside from not seeing the purpose of setting a favourite device (surely you should know what is your favourite device)

On the homepage of My Avastaccount (Attachment #1) you see Favorieten (= Favorites) .
On the device infopage (Attachment #2) you see in the top the path to the device. In the past there was a starlike symbol.
If you ticked this star you could make a favorite.
How can I make a favorite nowadays?

In all my time of using avast since the my.avast.com account has been available I have never see this Favourites section or any means of setting a device. That said your image appears to be a screen shot from a mobile device On Avast Mobile Security (AMS), mine is a screenshot from my Windows desktop system, using the Firefox browser. So there may well be a difference when viewed in an AMS browser.
You could ask this in the Avast Mobile Security sub-forum.
Even if it were their I would be hard pressed to see why anyone would need to set a device as a favourite.

On your image ‘Favorieten’ is called ‘Bookmarks’.
My question: How can I make such a bookmark?
Sorry for my poor English. It isn’t my native language.
The bookmarks function doesn’t work clicking on the refresh/reload or the … menu doesn’t work, so there isn’t any way to add a favourite or bookmark.
The only think that I found which worked is the ‘X’ close function and that removes either individual device entry or the complete Favourite/Bookmarks section if it has no device entries.
