Settings password in Avast program

So when I want click settings button in Avast program it says enter password but what password it needs because when I type account password and master password it says wrong password

It isn’t either of those passwords as it refers to the password protecting the Avast Program settings and folders, etc.

Did you set a password to protect your avast settings ?

It used to be very hard for obvious reasons necessitating a clean reinstall, but you can try this as it has another option.
