Setup closes immediatly - "Error in signature of archive"

Hi.
Tried to install latest avast (on clean win7 installation) but setup closes immediatly after starting.

Very strange.
Setup file also states “Unknown” for the publisher, which is also very strange.

The download was most likely corrupt… use the online installer.

Note: You need to be ONLINE during this install (online installer works in all cases whereas offline sometimes doesn’t)

You can try to verify the digital signature of the setup executable yourself - if it’s invalid (or there is no digital signature shown at all), then the file you have is corrupted.
