Since yesterday morning I’ve been getting red warnings that Avast is out of date, and I need to update. Each time, I click to update, it downloads a file, and the warning goes away. Although the file downloads quickly, as it downloads I can see much the same info and file-size (something about jolly roger). I’ve downloaded three times now.
Is this meant to be happening? Ran a complete scan of the system just a few days ago, when something downloaded from a website I visited. It found and quarantined whatever it was that downloaded.
