Hi
Jorn
Mozilla Thunderbird and Windows Mail (or Outlook Express) are monitored automatically by Internet Mail provider. You can set a lot of settings for it. Left click the ‘a’ blue icon > Details button (if needed) > Internet Mail provider at left > Customize button at right.
MS Outlook (full, not the Express) uses its own Outlook/Exchange plugin.
Hallo Tech
“Mozilla Thunderbird and Windows Mail (or Outlook Express) are monitored automatically by Internet Mail provider. You can set a lot of settings for it. Left click the ‘a’ blue icon > Details button (if needed) > Internet Mail provider at left > Customize button at right”
… Thanks for those details !
‘’‘’‘’’
“MS Outlook (full, not the Express) uses its own Outlook/Exchange plugin”
… So I might as well turn that off + Instant Messaging, as I do not use any of those …
(I mean - No need for Avast to use energi on things, who never are used … Right ?)
???

Yes. You can disable them if you never use them.
Hi again, again Tech !
“Yes. You can disable them if you never use them”
… Nice to know ! …
So I can also disable P2P-Shield? (Never use those servises I saw there either)
We have two PCs, who are not connected in any way.
My wife is wireless and I am with wire to D-Link Router. (LAN)
Is Network Shield needed? (When the 2 PC are not connected)
Internet Shield is of cause !!
Hope I do not ask too much -
And I really do not want to Spam You !

This should be my last Quistion for some time
Yes.
I’ll let it on if, at any time, you’ll connect these computers. The effort to remember and start it won’t worth the very very very small footprint of resources usage of NetShield.
If you never connect, disable it won’t harm.
Thanks Tech !
You have been a Exelent Helper !
Goodbye for Today
