Sharing violation when installing new skin

Love the new Avist skin, however I can’t seem to install on Vista Build 5600. I am getting “a sharing violation occured while accessing C:\Users\computername\AppData\local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\RK1JCJ3O\avist_by_szcraftec[2].aswcs”

Could it be that the installer is trying to install to a temp folder that does not exist?

What is the exact version (build) of avast! you are using?
It’s basically a conflict with IE7, but I believe it should be fixed in the latest avast! update, released about a week ago.

Thanks, I am using V. 4.7

The build number comes after that and the latest version is 4.7.892, right click the avast icon, about avast, for this information.

Sorry for the late response, I had some issues with Vista and my crossfire system, uninstalled and created dual boot, Ok, it was 4.7.892 because I installed another system at same time not using Vista, and I say 'was" because now I cannot install at all, I get a Microsoft popup at the end of installing Avast that states Avast has known compatibility issues with Vista and then recommends me to install one of their trash paid sponsers, Trend Micro, Ca, or ???, anyway it seems that they disable Avast somehow, I haven’t really researched it yet, but I will post more info, cuz MS just irks the crap out of me!

Again, it looks you’re not using one of the latest builds of Vista. RC2 for example (the latest one) doesn’t report anything like that…

Thanks
Vlk

You right! I am using RC1 5600 and I would like to say, after installing all updates, I reinstalled Avast, it installed no problem and I was able to install the new Avist skin! Works great, less filling! Thanks for the most excellent anti-virus out there! Just to let you know I own a computer shop, everyday people come in here with problems, I say, “hmm, sounds like you have a virus”, they say, "oh, no I have Norton and I just updated and ran a scan. I get to say, “Here let me show you something”. I install Avast do boot scan, and Voila! It’s amazing the fights and arguments I have to go through to prove how well Avast works. Once hooked, Pirates for life! Arrggrrr that would be Avast matey’s in a pirates sense.
