Shields stopped in Console for a Group do not stop on clients

I have also removed the following shields from the deployment and pushed a reinstall of all clients.
Now, shields being removed from the components for deployment package and from the settings in the group. After reinstall, all shields are there and STARTED!

Please help…

Are the shields showing up and on or off in the console after the reinstall?

Hi,
you must be sure that you have turned off the shields on the group settings… can you check again (see image attached)?
Are you sure you can see in the console, the clients connected in the correct group that you’ve edited?

After I removed the components from the distribution package (globally) the specific shields are now gone. But the main issue is, say I needed some of those shields for another group. Now I cannot use it, unless I re-enable them. But will they get re-enabled as well on clients.

The group disable feature did not work on its own.

I’m not sure I’ve understand clearly what you want, but if you want to use different shields policy on different kind of pc, it’s simple to create two different group in the NETWORK (under the avast console) and then move the client through the groups you’ve created. When you’ve created these groups, you can edit them separately, in this mode you can select what shield you want on or off.
