I registered this account just to say what an absolute shit company Avast is.
Trying to push more services to an already paying costumers is some greedy and scummy shit. Imagine buying a new car but every time you open the door it goes on about how you should have bought the premium package.
I don’t know about you but i would have driven that car right back to the retailer. So i regret buying this license and won’t be using it.

Call a car dealer and say you want a car and come to pick it up tomorrow.
Don’t be surprised if the car is not what you wanted/hoped for.

And of course the promotional ads can be disabled in the paid versions.

Could you tell me how to turn off promotional ads, as I have already have pop ups turned of, using Avast GUI → Settings → Popups is there some other way.

First one is in GUI see green update button. See earlier Attachment.

Second one in subscription page, plus i get a pop from time to time saying something like (people can see what you are doing).

First you can use the modify button/icon in your post, to open up the post for editing, this shows your attachments and you can uncheck one and save the post. Duplicate image gone.

This is an in UI promotion and not a popup, so it won’t be covered by the popup ads setting.

I believe that this should also be covered, no ads for other avast products should mean just that regardless of the location.

Commonly we/I see these using the free version, however mine tend to be offers/promotions on the Premium product, currently “Save up to 75% on premium protection.” I can resist this temptation I’m not a fan of these up to 75%, it either is or it isn’t. I don’t know what the variables are that would change it, possibly exchange rate.
