Hi. today i have noticed an browser ad-ware in chrome that ads an add window to various websites example: (steam store, Amazon) with shop links.
Upon researching i found it was most likely installed with an recent software.
Just wanted to be positive the adon is not harmful?
How to remove it?
And also how it got it installed?
the programs i installed in the last week were:
1.avast client update
2. malwarebytes
3. nvidia geforce experience

And also how it got it installed?crap that comes bundled with freeware downloads, and often installed if you just click next, next, next ..... there often is a opt out to uncheck this crap is usually classed as PUP = possible unwanted program
