Have a nice day.

For what it’s worth, my reaction would be to contact Customer Support, and see if this email is genuine.
Ron.

It looks OK… but the long URL #2 takes you to the logg in that looks just the same as this https://login.live.com/en …so why the long URL ???

Is your account actually blocked ???

My account is not blocked.

If your account isn’t blocked and you’re able to send and receive, then I’d report this email to MS.
I certainly wouldn’t respond or act upon it.

Can you look at the email header to see if actually came from Microsoft’s servers?

When they mention your account is blocked my first thought is phishing/social engineering to have you fill in your account details so that they might be harvested.

When you then confirm that your account isn’t blocked (which I would have doubted) then I would say it is almost certainly a scam/phishing/social engineering attempt. Or at the very least a clumsy email from support as it is virtually identical to this sort of phishing attempt.

Though all the links you post appear to be legit, in an email hover the mouse over the link and see what lies underneath (usually displays the true URL on the status bar at the bottom of the window).
