'Show Last Pop-Up Message' Greyed Out

Avast just displayed an ‘upgrade’ pop-up message. I right-clicked the taskbar icon and clicked ‘Show the last pop-up message’ but it is greyed out even though the computer was not rebooted.

Is the ‘Show the last pop-up message’ option only available to view after a warning/threat or is there a glitch in the software?

The latest version of Avast is installed.
