side by side configuration error

Hi,

I have a side by side configuration error with the latest version of Avast Internet Security. Tried to install all SP1 of c++ 2005/2008/2010 and 2012 to 2015, still doesn’t work.

Any help/ideas please ?

Other security related software installed…?
Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Thanks for your help.

OS : Windows 7 Home 64 SP1
Other security = Spybot but not running
No AV before Avast

First, be sure to get rid of Spybot…!!

Then:

Download Avast Internet Security: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe
Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
Reboot.
