Silencing the voice!

Hi,

I’m excited about using avast but not so keen on being told by a computerized voice every time the virus database is updated. Can anyone tell me how to turn off the voice notification?

Program Settings (right click the avast ‘a’ icon), Sounds, check the ‘Disable avast sounds.’

Program Settings (right click the avast ‘a’ icon), Sounds> settings> scroll to “avast! antivirus”> click on “automatic vps update”> set to “never”> click on ok
