Is there any way I can turn off virus database update messages? The sound, I don’t care about the pop-up. I turn it on Silent/Gaming mode all the time but it turns itself off. It drives me INSANE because I have my speakers on and LOUD almost 24/7 and to be woken up at 4am by a “YOUR VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED” warning is never fun, neither is having the outburst from my computer when I’m thoroughly enjoying some good music or when I have company over. It’s actually kind of funny how long I’ve been living with it haha. ANYWAY, enough is enough, I never want to hear that shit again. Hoping the only answer isn’t switching AV because I love avast.

Well putting it into silent/gaming mode should last until you deselect it, so I don’t know why that isn’t working.
@DavidR it works until it doesn’t… I don’t know what the cause is but it seems several hours later it’s de-selected and I never touch it.
