I was just out of the country and the day before I left I got the following in an email from avast:
The SIM card or phone number data of your device SCH-I535 has been updated.
Owner: N/A
Old IMSI: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
New IMSI: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
New phone number: +XXXXXXXXXX
I didn’t know if this meant I got hacked since I didn’t change my SIM card or do anything out of the ordinary. My Apple ID got changed (not by me) around the same time too. Any thoughts on this? I want to make sure my phone is secure before using any apps that have my financial info.
