since upgrading to 4.5.531 I get a pop up message by the systray of every email that’s being scanned. I have 'shoe tray icon when scanning mail unchecked.
so how do I get rid of them?

You’re probably seing the Standard Shield or Internet Mail provider alert.
Uncheck the optino ‘show detailed information on action performed’ of both providers (Advanced tab). By the way, you have check these options before as they’re not checked by default ;D
thanks - don’t recall doing that but with all the patches recently applied to get rid of timeouts it may be that i did.
