Siszyd32.exe yet again

Hi,

I noticed my PC was running very slowly yesterday and did a bit of digging to see what the problem was, a svchost process was running at 99% most of the time and I had an entry of siszyd32.exe in my startup.

I don’t think it did too much damage and i’m pretty sure I’ve managed to get rid of it but i’m no expert and was hoping someone could check an OTS log file for me just to make sure it is gone, please.

Nothing untoward showing I would suggest running MBAM to clear any residue registry entries

Really not sure where this had come from, it’s not like I go on any dodgy sites, always keep everything as upto date as possible, although Java was a fair bit out. (Can’t remember what version it was on before update)

I scanned my HDD with my works laptop which runs Sophos and that picked up 8 items and deleted them all.

What I found strange was that IE 8 had unistalled itself, I only noticed that because of a Windows update notification when I turned my pc on yesterday morning and Firefox had updated to 3.5.7 the day before.

I’ve changed all my passwords as a precaution

Thanks again for looking at the log.
