I have the site blocking feature turned on to prevent my browser from going to specific sites that I know are infected. If Avast blocks one of these sites from my browser will I be notified?

For example, if I click on an advertisement, and the link brings me to a site that I currently have on my site blocking list, will it still appear, or will I just not see anything, or will Avast notify me of it?

avast will notifi if you are going to websites that are on a blocklist URL:mal, it will also notifie if the webshield detect malware on the site

Are you saying it will say “URL:mal” to inform me it is going to a blocklisted site?
