Can I block porn/adult sites through site blocking feature of Avast? Not just a url, I mean all the porn/adult sites.

No you can’t block by a category only by URL.
I suggest you use OpenDNS if you want to block sites by category, that way you don’t have to maintain any listing.

I think Avast should include this type of protection or parental control in site blocking module or webrep module.
Any plan of Avast to include such protection?

As far as I’m aware they have a stand alone product like that. So I rather doubt it will be included in the AV products and certainly not in the free product. I also don’t want to see avast become some bloated monster trying to be all things to all men. Not to mention I don’t believe parental control comes under the heading of security.
There are plenty of parental control products out there, some free.

Open DNS is a good way to go and you also get some very useful security tools too but don’t forget Windows Live Family Center >> http://explore.live.com/windows-live-family-safety-child-kid-protect-filter-sites-chat-faq << which you download free and then give different profiles to each user on a machine. That deals with content type and also has access timers which are superb. I use a combination of both to keep my sons usage in check and keep him away from content that is unsuitable.
There really is no need for Avast to duplicate these services.
