site blocking won't stay active

Running Free Avast on Win 10. The site blocking feature will not stay on. I click on the check box to Enable site blocking and then click on OK twice. When I go back to Web Shield and click on customize, site blocking the check box is cleared and my list of sites is grayed out.

Update - site blocking seems to be working as far as one of my rules works. .info/ and I receive the message “Avast has blocked access to the site (based on a user-defined list of blocked URLs).”

Not sure if this is exactly the same as yours or not as those who have reported this are stating it isn’t working, not working for some but not for others.

There is a bug that has been reported in the forums (site blocking not working), acknowledged by an Avast Team member and a fix is being worked on.
