site could have harmed your computer

I have the same sort of problem as described here https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=180485.0
in which a red popup screen blots out the website I try to view, and the red screen is not removable.

The website I’m trying to view is http://rjh.org/~rjh/ , a weather information source.

During 2015 there was an avast popup warning on this site, but it was removable until recently.

I placed the site in the white list but it made no difference.

I emailed with the site owner who assured me that he’s been running the site for 10 years and there was no virus with his website. He and I tried several times last year to get what appears to be a false positive removed by avast. Now it’s become even worse with an unmovable popup saying ‘Warning This site could have harmed your computer’.

Will you please fix this problem which as existed for about a year now?

The problem seems to be with the anilogo.gif file.
It looks like a false positive to me.

I unblocked rjh.org, it really seems like a false positive
