what type of threat?.. malware name given by avast
The Skype is called a Threat: Unix:Malware-gen
The Lenovo is called a Threat: Win32:Hupigon-ONX[trj]

Looks like a generic malware notice. I got the same threat detected on my Lenovo win7 laptop. Thought it was the real deal and placed it in quarantine. Figured the file was polluted and figured I’d grab a clean copy of the file from my wife’s identical Lenovo win7 laptop. Bet you can’t guess what happened when I scanned hers…yep, flagged as gen-malware, too.
Looks like a false positive.
Was it the real and genuine thing, it was a bootsector virus detection.
