So I have my Avast Free’s icon pinned into my Windows 10 toolbar, and juat a minute ago I noticed the square area around it turned orange, which usually happens when a program has notification or message e.t.c. I tried to click Avast UI open trough the icon, but even though the orange background of the icon disappeared, Avast UI didn’t pop up at first. When I tried again after short while, another Avast icon appeared into toolbar (as seperate of the one I already had pinned), which apparenlty was the Avast UI opened as it’s seperate thing. The new icon disappeared when I closed the Avast UI window and popped up again when I clicked the pinned toolbar icon. What I ended up doing was that I unpinned the original Avats icon that I had in my toolbar and pinned the newer one, and Avast UI opens up normally when I click it. So nothing real big going on anymore, but I was left wondering did Avast possibly run into some kind of internal upgrade thing that caused this stuff to happen or something?
My question is why pin the Avast UI to the taskbar when avast is already in your system tray ???
