Slower boot up after updating to latest anti virus version as well as registry m

Hello,

I have updated my av program and notice the boot up time has increased which is slower than previous version. 11.2253 something, Please somehow increase the boot up time and I have tried unchecking the “Load after services” which made no difference.

In addition I am getting this “warning” from event viewer.

1 user registry handles leaked from \Registry\User: Process 1616 (\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastSvc.exe) has opened key \REGISTRY\USER\

is this normal or what should I do as it also appeared in the previous version which I thought it would fix this proble

bump and please if possible to speed up the boot time as it stalls from opening anything until the icon shows up.

I have disabled all except for the antivirus as start up and Microsoft script host

In addition I am getting this "warning" from event viewer.

1 user registry handles leaked from \Registry\User: Process 1616 (\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastSvc.exe) has opened key \REGISTRY\USER</blockquote>
Attach FRST diagnostic logs and Essexboy will take a look inside

I would also try a repair of Avast:

Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

Sorry for the late reply but an update, I have currently disabled Rootkit scan and raw disk access which seems to instantly load into windows and open chrome. I will need to give it a few days since a day isn’t enough to test it.

I am using windows 7 SP1, 64 bit OS and 8gb of ram
