good day,
im having this problem whenever i watch viedos on line like netflix , tubi , youtue-not much. just only whenever i watch, sometimes it frooze and crahs my computer. i try reinstalling chrome but no luck. i have this idea turning off avast temporary and see if it will do the same. and im glad it did not. what can i do ? , i dont want to uninstall avast because i been using it for years now and i have no virus problem ever since.
hope anybody can help what to do. thank you

I see you have free version so will not be Avast firewall.
Open Avast user interface.
First check you have the latest version installed.
Menu>About should display version. 20.3.2405 (build 20.3.5200.574) or later.
Then I suggest you try and Repair Avast:
Select Menu>Settings>General>Troubleshooting
Then hit the green [REPAIR APP] button.
After that do a system “Restart” (not shutdown/startup)
