Please forgive me this double post.
I decided to post it here again because I did it too late in the “Beta Section / RC1” so nobody will read it there.
A small funny glitch seems to be localized to some or all non English languages:
German or Dutch language and default “File System Shield” selected
Open “Summary / Statistics” you see in the upper left quarter “Show statistics for:”. You can get the drop down menu either by clicking on the little “down” arrow or clicking on the words (default) “File System Shield”.
That works well with English language selected.
But if you click with German or Dutch language selected on the words (not the down arrow) some kind of “mouse over” balloon type message appears with the same words covering the whole thing and you are not able to click anything. See picture.
If you are very fast with your click the drop down menu will show for a split second, the GUI will flash once and here you are back with the balloon message and no drop down list.
Any other than “File System Shield” selected the procedure works well in German or Dutch language.
When you run into this “mouse over-balloon type-pop up”, hitting any key makes it disappear and the thing works normal again with German or Dutch language selected.
I don’t see a problem either, I just put it here for the purpose that avast! people might stumble over it and say: “ok, it’s a point for the next program update.” A perfect program can be perfected even more!
Well ok, still can’t see what you mean, as this is certainly no bug, it’s the way it should work.
So, what should happen in the next program update…?? ??? Maybe I’m just missing your point…?? :-\
The problem is:
With German (Dutch) language selected you only can click the down arrow to get the list.
You can not click on the text which says in German “Dateisystem-Schutz”. If you do then this funny thing happenes.
With English language selected it does not happen and everything is normal. :
That’s exactly how it should work. If the text is longer and can’t be displayed fully, it’s shown in full when you hover over it. The down arrow is always…!! the right place to click at.
