Smart Scan issues results

I ran the smart scan found 2 issues in internet, performance and register avast program I click on detail all 3 windows was blank.

I did avast repair I ran smart scan again still same problem.

I uninstalled avast then reinstalled avast I ran smart scan again still same problem.

I was going to uninstall it for good and look for a different antivirus program i decided to see if avast had forums site which it does so now i am here to seek help with this problem.
I get 30 days to register avast, if i can not register the program the program will not work after 30 days right…

I took 2 SS, i combined both SS in to one SS, "Scan issues showing on left side results of scan on right side…

Is there away to fix these blank issues problems

I do see a insert image no info on what I Am suppose to put in there so this does me no help add the jpg…

update: idk how i over look the attachment button but i did. the SS has been uploaded

i looked all over for attachment i did not see it. and it was write where most attachments usually are. I am tired but didn’t think I was that tired…

register issues i found on my own but it has same problem as the internet and performance blank windows when there should be kinda of info written in there…

Thank you for reporting this.
For analysis we need some logs.
First enable debug logging: GUI → Settings → General → Maitenance → Enable debug logging
Then reproduce the issue (Run Smart Scan).
Then create support package, submit it (guide here: https://www.avast.com/en-us/faq.php?article=AVKB33) and send me a message with the ID of created package so we can find it.

I have did everything all what you told me, enable debug log, ran avast support package then sent it. now I’ll just have to wait for avast to find out what the problem is

I was right the first time i posted about no Attachment anywhere… Here is a SS where attachment should be which there is not.

Your image is for the PM function and that doesn’t have a function to attach files.

When you make a Reply to a post as you did, it does have the Attachments and other options.

I got a email.
yes i figured that part out… i can’t reply back to the email it states “[IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email]”. i clicked link i got from avast it says “Reply to this Personal Message here: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?blah:blah=blah:blah” so i started to reply there. If i can’t attach a SS to this reply how will the sender see my SS…

Hopefully I gave techs/staff everything they needed I shouldn’t need to upload any SS now.

Well it was Filip Braun that suggested:

So he is only after the Support Package ID number, that can be given in the Body of a PM or an email reply or current topic.

As you say there shouldn’t need the screenshot, though there would be no harm in posting it as an attachment in this topic.

Generally I would recommend you contact support/avast team to give a link back to any forum topic related to your problem.

There was more to just running the support package. I had 1 SS for support because i did not have any info how to upload the 2 files to avast server, The other SS had nothing to do with the support package it was about something on this avast forums site…

Hopefully tech got the files they needed i have not heard anything from them so maybe techs got the files.

The support package handles the upload of the support package.

i had to upload 2 files myself, Report file and Dump file to one of the avast servers…

I am still waiting on techs reply see if they found the problem issues

Update: They must of fixed it avast updated yesterday all seems to work fine now. I Thank all forum people, avast staff for helping me with this problem :slight_smile:
