Smart Scan Stuck At 43%

Everytime I try to run the initial Smart Scan it gets stuck at 43% (Network Threats) I have already tried the repair option to no avail.

Would it be best to run the different scans separately?

Anyone got any ideas?

Disabled it from Smart Scan but when I run the Network Scan independently it never stops 0- Been scanning for nearly 6 hours

It is a known problem and avast is working on it.
It may already have been solved in the latest beta.
