Hello, I am running Avast Premier 2015 under Windows 8.1 64 Bit and am running a Smart Scan and it gets as far as scanning Home Network Security and it then doesn’t get any further, please can someone give me some idea how to fix this, thank you.
What happens if you only scan the home network?
Good question, I’ll try that and see what happens.
It immediately goes to 62% (when it scanned everything it got to 77%) and then gets no further.
Did u do a repair of avast via add/remove? What antivirus did you have prior to Avast?
I installed it on a new machine, I’ll try the repair and see if that helps.
I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling it.
