i am i the only one experiencing that smart scan gets stuck at 100 % for hours??its been happening for weeks now i thought one day a vps update would bring a solution but i guess i was wrong …any help please

I tend to avoid on-demand scans Smart or otherwise, with exception to beta or testing in relation to forum topics.
I ran a Smart Scan on my win10 64bit system with avast free 17.9.2322 and no problem, it reported 1 issue for software updater Flash Player, which I had it update.
However, I run a highly limited/customised Smart Scan and I also have a highly customised avast installation, so much of what I consider bloat/unnecessary components aren’t installed. I would suggest you look at what is installed and what is running in the smart scan.
