I do a Smart Scan regularly, but always have 2 tabs open on the web, usually email and a Forum.
Does Avast scan the open files or does it ignore them ?
I’m not entirely sure what it is your asking, having 2 browser tabs open shouldn’t effect it at all.
Avast would already have scanned files/tabs that have been opened by/in your browser by the Web Shield.
Avasts on-access scanners (web shield and file system shield, etc.) still do their work even if you have an on-demand scan running.
