Smartscan started up itself

Hello,

Smartscan started up without any scheduling. I am using the free version.

Is it supposed to do that?

Nope.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
