SMS and Call Filter by area code or wildcard

I tried searching but didn’t find anything. Is there a way to filter/block calls that some from specified area codes? If not, could this be implemented? Some other useful features would be:

  • Filter/Block with wildcards.
  • Whitelist filter, only allow people in address book to get through.
  • Define what happens to filtered call.

[li]Rejection - send disconnected number (or better suggestion)

  • To Voicemail - does not ring and goes directly to voicemail (I believe this is what it does now).
  • No Voicemail - rejects the call and does not go to voicemail (not sure if this is even possible)
  • Answer/Hangup - Answers the phone than disconnects

Hi,

  1. wildcards - an idea I already marked as interesting meaning it might get implemented sometimes in the future :slight_smile:
  2. whitelist for address book - you an already achieve that by blocking all unknown and hidden numbers
  3. filtered call options - that’s not that easy to implement since Android options in this case are very limited, even now when there is only one option we are facing issues that it’s not working at all on some devices (manufacturers altered them so the blocking won’t work) so providing more options might work on some devices, but would most probably result in some of the options not working on most of them

So does "All Unknown Numbers" mean numbers that are not in address book and not actually numbers that come through as unknown? Would "All Hidden Numbers" then be numbers that are not shown, so when the phone says "unknown"?
