SMS Blocker not working.

Hi. I’ve installed Avast Mobile on my Galaxy Nexus GSM (Stock Android 4.2.2 - Not rooted)a few weeks ago, and I tried to put the numbers that my carrier uses to spam me with their “new packages” and stuff. The thing is: They use 5 numbers to send these spams, but these are 4-digit numbers, and when I try to manually add them, I can’t because the prompt says the number is too short:

So I created a regular Android contact containing the 5 numbers, and added them on Avast through “Add a new group member > Choose from Contact List” method, but I’m still receiving the spams, and there’s nothing on SMS Blocker’s log.

I don’t know, but it seems to me that maybe the SMS Blocker is not working because of the 4-digit numbers thing, even after I managed to succefully add them through the Contact List method.

So I would like to suggest that Avast let us put any number we want on the Black List, regardless of their digit count, because I think more carriers around the world uses 4 or less-digit numbers to annoy their customers.

Thanks for all,
Diego

Hi,

why didn’t you add the numbers via the SMS log option?
