Hello,
I received the following SMS/Text from one of our users mobiles with Avast installed
“The sender of this SMS has requested we send you a new avast! PIN. The new PIN is 553865 and is valid for up to 30 minutes.”
The user assures me they did nothing on the Phone…??
I had not been editing any settings on AMS Account page for any phones
Any ideas

Hi,
does he have his AMS installation protected with a PIN? If so, it might be that he just missclicked on the PIN dialog from where this SMS is sent.

Hi,
I wouldn’t be bothered with it then. It’s as it says, the PIN will be invalid after 30 minutes so it’s long gone
