SMSs not hidden

When I command to my S2 with the password and then the code, (in the format 1234 COMMAND) the message is visible in my messaging app.

I have done a bit of research and found a few people have had the problem who were using GoSMS or Handcent SMS. However I am using the standard ICS messaging app and I can see all the messages :S

Any ideas?

Hi,

are you sure you activated the Anti-Theft? You have to go through the basic setup steps in order to activate the software (inserting your name, your friend phone number(s) etc).

Does Anti-Theft respond to those messages?

yes I get the correct response when I send a command text. but the message is visible in the standard messaging app

That’s really weird then :slight_smile: I’ll have it checked out on our S2. One more question - when you launch AAT, does it (or did it) complain about any incompatibilities with other apps you have?

Yes it did at first, It said SMS filter will cause it to stop working. So i uninstalled SMS filter. Could it be because i have custom firmware on my phone?
