… No, that’s bad security advice. Do NOT disable it during Windows Updates. The first thing before you connect to the internet is an antivirus… If you’ve already done a clean install (seems so), is the problem still there or is reoccurring per release?
Not bad advice… you are downloading directly from Microsoft… if you don’t trust them you might as well turn your computer off now and be done with it. There is not going to be any security breach unless you remain on the internet for any extended length of time and surf to a website. Quit drinking the Kool Aid… they’ve got you paranoid
I had problems of freeze when downloading or installing windows updates. I have apparently solved them by unchecking the updates of windows antivirus. But I have not succeeded in completely suppressing the Windows antivirus…
