I have SBS 2003, with Avast SOA . it uses SQL for its transactions and i have over 400,000 entries in the Job History. So my SQL DB (data and Log) are almost 6GB in size.
Running out of disk space on C. Is there any way to get SOA to clean out entries and then compact the DB to gain back space? Automatically? All Jobs are scheduled and running, but Job History keeps getting largerand so does DB.
SOA warning message:
“The size of the internal database has exceeded 80% of its size limit
(which is 8.000GB). The current size of the database is 7.394GB. Please
contact support@avast.com as soon as possible for available solutions”
This is what will happen next.
We haven’t heard from anyone yet, so Lukas, Pavels? What should we do?

What’s the DB? An embedded SQL compact database or a MSSQL database?
It was explained to me as an embedded SQL lite, that enables SOA footprint to be tiny, and use no horse power.
Since I haven’t heard from tech support yet, I am going to take a stab at this issue.

In SOA, Jobs, Schedular, Remove unused server logs, More details, Settings, Details, and under Cleanup aggression level, we can change the option from monthly, 10 days, or 1 day on High, then save, and run.

Please post back so I can know the results! J.R.
Logs continue to get larger. Still hovering around 6GB.
They seem to shrink a little, then grow bigger.
Needing any space on my “C” drive. Can I just delete them? or turn off all logging or something?
Yes, i tried your “aggressive” cleanup, and it only helped a small amount.
