SOA Update Server Definitions Failed

I noticed our virus definitions were our of date and that the update job keeps failing.

The server definitions are currently at 140902-0.

Most of the clients have 140916-1, 140917-0 or 140917-1.

I updated the SOA this morning from 1.2.2.28 to the newest one.

Now, the job still fails and I get the error: Unexpected unresolvable error in definitions update job!

Though, a few of the clients have since updated to 140930-0.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I went back through some of my old posts and realized I had a similar problem before.

I ran mirror.exe from the command prompt and now I’m seeing it’s running into a 404 error trying to download a file:

Error (20000006): Other HTTP error (404), while trying 50.7.100.202:80//iavs5x/setif_abp-4e5-4ca.vpx

It’s trying to download a file that doesn’t exist.

Hi brandon0413,

Please try to delete everything in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Administration Console\Mirror\Mirror\ except servers.def. After that run command-prompt as administrator and then drag&drop mirror.exe from C:\Program files\AVAST Software\Administration console\x86\ and run it. When mirror re-building is done, make sure that you ran ‘Update server definition’ job from SOA.

so i’m new to the avast SOA-

so my mirror was last updated about 29/01/2017 - has not been updated since. How do i update this? @M3RTO

It is not much of use to post in a 3(!) year old thread as a lot has changed since then.
