Im new here and i just was reading the news that a new virus threat has been reeking havoc on world pc’s"sober-N" worm is sending itself in the German & English language disguised as a email attachment offering free tickets to world cup soccer match in 2006 , which is of little interest to me … problem is that it takes over ur pc and re-mailes itself to everyone in your address book (own e-mail engine)
i checked the "known virus database " from avast and did not see this virus listed … do you know how long it will be before AVAST finds a way to recognise and dissable this virus?
Sober N is not only the “Fifa” Worm i got several Sober N infected Mails with differnt subjects/text.

I also received some Sober-ed e-mails. :o
But avast! detected them right away.
