Captains Log: 7/18/2014 Today Avast notified me of a Google Chrome update I had pages open at the time but went ahead to try to update when it had finished updating there was an error message so i closed the updater , Only to find Chrome was now up to date ( strange thing is the update was for chrome 37 added to beta but when I checked Chrome settings I still have Chrome 36. Question is why did avast software updater tell me there was an update when there was not ??? very Strange
Latest Chrome version is 38.0.2096.0
