Software Updater - Disabled?

I have latest update for Avast 8 (avast! Antivirus 8.0.1480.37 RC2) and now my Software Updater don’t work.

Click on “Start”.

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

I did Rapair and Reset to defaults but problem stay the same :frowning:

Try a clean reinstall.
Use http://files.avast.com/test5beta/aswclear.exe in safe mode.

Is there some idea / solution other than this?

You could just wait, maybe a server problem in your area… (No problem with SU here, though.)

This problem started from RC version, in beta version, everything was OK. :cry:

Well, then please do a clean reinstall.
