Ever since upgrading to version 2014 the software updater does not work anymore. It used to tell me when many of my programs needed to be updated but it is no longer doing that. Just today Firefox told me that there was a new release and the Avast was reporting that all software was up to date.
Anyone else having this issue?
Did you try a repair of avast via Add/remove?
I’m not sure I am understanding Add/remove? Do you mean the control panel under programs/programs and features?
Yes, he meant that. From there Change the Avast installation and choose repair… make sure to reboot after.
If that doesn’t work, from AvastUI in the settings, reset the software updater to default. If that doesn’t fix it, it means that avast! is not up to date with the software changes. It could be that the software updates only update with VPS and not streaming updated, I’m not sure, though.
