So far I like the new version. I see the software updater is still included (as I have seen the popup for out-of-date programs). But I can’t find where to access this to manually check to see if there are any updates. It is no longer in the Tools menu. Where did it go?

I simply can’t understand why they feel it necessary to move features around when a new addition comes out. If you notice, the setting for Software Updater is still in tools.
So anyway, it’s all good.
Many folks right-click on the buttons on the main Status page and configure them to show the features they use most. I have Software Updater right on there.

As mentioned you can organise the main UI page and select the tiles you want direct access to, see image.
