Software Updater problem

I recently received a pop-up from Avast telling me i needed to update Flash Player Active X. I did so, in fact, i did it a couple of times, but after i refresh Avast, it’s still indicating it needs to be updated.

I checked my currently installed programs and it’s there, although, there’s no size specified for it.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Same problem here.

Some times Software Updater sees a new version that really is not available.
Attached is mine…all updated per Adobe but you can see error.

Seems already thread on this: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=144818.15

OK, so what do we do about it? Just ignore it or is there some action to fix the problem? OR is this a developer problem?

Mine shows fine today.

I’ve noticed this happens time-time…best thing is post and wait…usually is resolved in day or two.
As long as you know you’ve updated with latest software you are good.

It was resolved by Yesterdays VPS update 140117-1

I just checked AVAST and mine is fine now too…great!

However, i’d really like to know why there’s no size beside this program when i look at active programs under the ADD/REMOVE programs? Seems odd!!!

Make sure it is installed correctly by checking Adobe site.
For flash player here…should see bouncing logo and also it tell you what you have installed…

Yes, i see the bouncing logo and it tells me that i have version 12,0,0,43 installed. I guess i’m OK?

Yes.
