Have recently updated windows 10 and my avast is telling me about updating internet explorer? I believe this is a bug but look carefully at the screen print and versions please.

I have done windows update a few times but to no avail avast still shows this needs updating even tho the version i have is better lol.

It is a bug, there are a few other topics about this.

As far as I’m aware avast know about this and hopefully a fix is being created. In the meantime as a workaround you can Ignore it in the Software Updater settings for Explorer.
