Hi
When I recently run Software updater Google chrome was not listed alongside with the other programs checked for updates.
Firefox was on the list but not Google Chrome neither IE which by the way I´m not sure if it used to be listed. But Google chrome for sure used to be with the programs beeing checked for updates. Anyone got some input to this ? Recently Google chrome was updated to new version 55.0 etc. If that got something to do with it ?
Mmm …
I don’t use Chrome.
But I can confirm that IE isn’t listed here either, while I know it was listed in previous versions.
Greetz, Red.
On this Win10 laptop, which I haven’t had very long, I only have 4 items on the Software Updater now, but I have very little installed at present. I have Firefox, Thunderbird and both Flash Player versions (activeX for IE and the plugin version for firefox).
Browser wise, I have Edge, but I don’t believe that is covered and IE11 hidden under the hood (should I remove Edge) and no Chrome.
OK thanks for the feedback. I was just curios because back in my mind I had a feeling that both IE and Chrome was listed before. Not a big problem because both are set to automatic update themselves and it usually works.
You’re welcome.
IE was certainly listed before, but since Windows 10 I believe that may now be left to windows update.
Checking my XP system now doesn’t show IE either and a number of others are no longer listed.
