Hi, I do not say that every body experienced it. I changed the router dns to google as per the suggestions or solutions given to me by avast scan. But , on scanning with some third party sites, the actual dns server shows google dns, as configured as one server, there was also another having web hosting server at foreign site. i was puzzled and noted that deep scan shows this server. It is not present always and at times, i have noted it besides my configured google.dns. Either google dns allowing those sites to access my router or the web host is accessing my router by othermeans.
I coud not bother about those foreign sites. I thought better to revert to my ISP dns server, though avast shows some hijacked domains in its scan.
I think , it may be false positive case. I tried to ping the website and i could not.Is there any chance that it is false positive. In otherwords, it scans the site everytme i opt it and come with the same results. i do not find anything security lapse in my router settings.
Is therre a chance of it being false positive? How could come to the conclusion? I could not contact support as i am using free version.
I could not contact support as i am using free version. You can still contact avast using the ticket system
