Hi,
I’m experiencing a problem with Avast tray service. It does’n respond at all (double click, right click)! I’m able to access Avast UI via desktop icon. I tried to repair Avast, it done successfully, but the issue still remains! It reacts normal when Avast is scanning something.
Anyone has encountered this weird issue? It’s not a big problem, but what is the cause of it?! :-\
thnx
I had this issue… It fixed itself for me after like 2 or 3 restarts of the computer.

Ok, I follow these steps:
Downloaded avast 9 remover.exe
Restarted PC in Safe Mode, than run the remover. Avast gone!
Restarted PC in Normal Mode, than installed new Avast IS, a fresh copy.
Until this, everything went fine. But, when I checked the Firewall, and it requested me to restart PC, that issue appeared again! :o
So, definitely it’s a bug! Like Coolmario88 said above, I’ll be patient, maybe it will fix itself after future updates.
thnx for the help

Reboot 2 more times. For some that solved the problem

In Win 7, log off and then log on. This seems to be the workaround until something better comes along.
